We are 3-1 in conference, having just picked up our 1st road win in nearly 2 years at Ole Miss. UK played really their 1st good game all season over the weekend in defeating UTk. Rupp is an extremely hard environment in which to play; you end up playing the team, the crowd and usually the refs, as well. I think I would have felt better about this one had UK not won over the weekend. We will have to minimize TOs - can't afford empty possessions. We will have to be effective and efficient offensively. We will have to fight the Cats on the boards and defend like crazy to pick up a win. UK has always seemed to find a way to beat us, whether decisively or close. But this Cats' team seems to lack chemistry. I would not predict a win at Rupp, but never say never....

I like the optimism! Win one for Willock and Chandler tonight.

Sometimes it's the Jimmys and Joes. Tshiebwe was unguardable. Wallace was special in the second half.

I remain impressed with what White is getting out of these guys. A talent upgrade is necessary to take the next step, but when Roberts is cooking, we'll continue to be a tough out.

Yeah, UK just has more talent. Oscar had 37 pts and 24 rebs. We had no answer. We played really well in the 1st half, but when things started going wrong in the 2nd, we did not keep our composure. We took some bad shots trying to stem the tide, enabling them to increase their momentum and the lead. It was a vicious cycle. I understand why we played zone against them - Oscar was killing us in MTM. But our zone was ineffective. Once the Cats got momentum, we couldn't put on the brakes. Hard to sustain your play in that environment. And, of course, they get away with a lot of physical play at home.
