65-61 Dawgs. But honestly, I felt that it was unnecessarily close. We should have been able to knock Bucknell out by 20+, but I do realize we didn't have Oquendo for this one. Bucknell was not overly athletic, but they are very well coached. We were not able to get out and run on them very much, which was our gameplan. One thing we did very well was make our FTs. This team is a very good FT shooting team it seems. Terry Roberts pulled our fat out of the fire really - our only double figurer scorer. I thought JAR did some nice things - some good rebs and FT shooting. (This guy has to be in every close game where we are trying to keep a lead. He's such a good FT shooter - though I did jinx him into 1 miss.) Tied at the half, the Dawgs were able to pull away by 4. The Dawgs aren't gonna win many game where their opponent shoots 44%, while we shoot 33%. We had 15 TOs against a team that didn't pressure us at all. We outrebounded them 37-29. Moncrieffe gave it a shot but clearly isn't quite back to normal from that ankle injury. Etter played his best game so far this year and drew a couple of charges, of course. I will just say that we were not sharp in this one.
