Golden is the current San Francisco Don's coach, a former assistant under Pearl at AU and a player at St. Mary's. If he learned from Coach Bennett at St. Mary's and worked with Pearl, he's probably a good coach. The Dons made the NCAA tourney this year but lost in the first round to Murray St. 92-87 in OT. I didn't watch any of that game, so I don't have any thoughts on it. Golden is 36, so a young fella....
