but it's the same ole story - TOs and lack of defense, so far.... Oquendo played a great offensive game; it just wasn't enough to overcome the mistakes.

Why even go there? Where is the rule that says a player can transfer every year? Why would the next coach not try to keep him? Or are we just gonna be negative and assume the worst?

He came here from a JUCO, right?

I assume he can do the one-time transfer. Why would he stay? Just being realistic.

It's obvious Oquendo will be a hot commodity in the transfer portal, and he will certainly be entering. That doesn't mean the new coach can't keep him at UGA but odds are great he will be playing elsewhere next season.

1-17 is looking more and more certain with games against Florida & Tennessee in Athens and a road trip to Mizzou remaining. Tough hire coming up, we'll likely get a few "not no but hell no" from a few folks before settling on our next coach. He'll have a helluva lot tougher circumstance than Tom Crean walked into on day one.
