Tough 1st draw, but both games will be tough IMHO.

Virginia may be the third best team in that tourney. They return their starting guards Clark (34/mpg) and Beekman (29/mpg) and added Indiana transfer Franklin (30/mpg) and an 18.4 pts player from E. Carolina.
Currently #76 T-Ranking

Northwestern returns 3 starters and another 20/mpg player and Chris Collins has them headed in the right direction.
Currently #50 T-Ranking

Providence returns 7 of their top 8 players from a pretty good squad that finished #58 last year.
Currently #48 T-Ranking

Georgia had a mass exodus of their top players but word is we brought in some athletic guys who can shoot to play alongside Horne.
Currently #211 T-Ranking

Neither Northwestern nor Providence will play the kind of defense UVA will. That's the coach, not the players. Bennett will have his team ready.

Bennett's teams have long been know for defense. Something happened last year as they finished #104 in defensive efficiency. The previous two seasons they were #1 and #6 in that category. We've been consistently terrible defensively under Crean with #197, #247 and #226 rankings with CTC at the helm. Offensive Efficiency is a little better but still awful with UGA finishing #242, #118 and #163 under Crean. With Anthony Edwards we peaked in OE at #118 but at the same time bottomed in DE at #247. We've been nothing but terrible on both ends of the floor and in the coaching box on the sideline.

We'll certainly be the underdog regardless of the opponent but that doesn't mean we can't win one.
