I like Wheeler a lot. He pushes the pace and gets a lot of easy baskets. Crean gave him a ton of freedom. He is a fun player to watch - when he's not missing a perimeter shot or turning the ball over. He's real liability in half court defense. He's certainly not the be all and end all of PGs. This #8 ranking is high, to me, but it's based on who else is in the portal, I suppose.

What stands out to me in this article is that of the total 29, who have appeared on this list and committed to a new team, almost half (13 total) are headed to the SEC.

Weird, isn't it. The SEC had tons of people in the portal, not just Crean. At least 53 and maybe more than that. As I said elsewhere, Buzz Williams has 9 in the portal. This stuff is crazy for everybody.
