Honestly, I doubt it. My understanding is that both he and his dad were disappointed with the lack of chance to showcase his outside shooting ability and he wants to go to a program that will let him do that. But the kid is 7'2". He needs to be inside a lot for his teams to win. Crean would probably let him float around the perimeter quite a bit in his system, but my understanding is that his family doesn't like Crean. I don't know that for a fact. Just what I've heard. Walker could be a dominant post player for somebody. He becomes less effective the further he gets from the basket in my view. He was recruited as a stretch 4 type, but I think he's just outgrown that role. Plus, he has a hitch in his outside shot that needs to get fixed. He has a ton of potential if he just becomes OK with the fact that he needs to concentrate on post play.
