It'll be a tougher game than last year....and I'm sure everyone is thinking we're in trouble, the way we played against LSU and all. But...Not so fast my friend....the Gators were down 21-3 against Vandy at one point and finally pulled away in the 4th quarter. That's the same Vandy team that we trashed. So, I'm not sold on the fact that they have suddenly turned into a juggernaut and we are just a big puddle of goo....if we go down to Jax and pimp slap the Gators, that LSU loss will be ancient forgotten history.

A lot of folks didn't think LSU had a chance to beat us, yet they came out ready to play and took care of business. Vandy seems to always play UF after a tough physical game, so I was not surprised they struggled with the Dores, but they are showing signs of being a solid team finding a way to come back like they did-and even had two starting D players tossed in that game. They are going to be extra motivated this year after the beating we gave them last year, and the fact they win this game, they are really in a great spot to win the east.

This is a HUGE game for Kirby and our team, everyone ASSumed we would walk away with the east this year, if we let a new coach come in and lead UF to a east title, or let a basketball school in UK win the east, that is NOT a good sign for our program-even with our recruiting being what it is and our youth-we still have too much talent in my opinion for that to happen. I think we will play a LOT better in Jax, now will it be good enough to get the W, that is the big question.
