Help me add and/or delete to this strawman's list I just put together to have 11 offensive, defensive, and special teams starters.

Offense:
- Quarterback: Fran Tarkenton, Eric Zeier, Zeke Bratkowski
- Running Backs (x2): *Herschel Walker, Frank Sinkwich, Knowshon Moreno, Garrison Hearst, Tim Worley, Charley Trippi, Bob McWhorter

- Tight End: Larry Brown, Orson Charles, Randy McMichael, Leonard Pope, Troy Sadowski, Ben Watson

* Definite starter

If I had to pick running backs I'd have a rotation of Herschel, Chubb and Edwards. I almost want to put Gurley in there but he was just so undisciplined as a runner.

Your list is full of DGD's AF, however a few other possibilities for me would be: QB's - Greene and Murray, RB's - Chubb and Michel (2 and 3 on the all time rushing list) FS - Sean Jones, PK - Billy Bennett. Kick Blocker - Boss Bailey (they put in the no leaping rule because of Boss). These are just a few that sprung to mind for me.

Thanks apmdawg for the input. Murray, Chubb, and Michel should all be considered as potential starters on an all-time UGA Football team. Fwiw, I already had FS Sean Jones as one of my candidates. While I liked Billy, I didn't include him b/c his leg was weaker than some of the other candidates. Boss is a definite add to block special teams kicks along w/ Kendrell Bell and Zach Renner, imo.

sorry, AF my old eyes didn't see Sean's name the first time I read the list. A few others I thought about were at inside or middle LB - Tony Gilbert, Bill Mitchell. Also, based on numbers and longevity you would have to consider Dom Sanders at one of the safety spots. As a special teams gunner I would consider Kelin Johnson. He was a heck of a gunner on punt coverage before he became a starter at safety.

apmdawg, I can relate to your "old eyes" comment. As for Tony Gilbert, you're right...he was a good 'un and should be considered as a possible starter on UGA's all-time list!
