ATHENS - UGA Football coach Kirby Smart said Earnest Greene would be practicing this week with the Bulldogs heading into the trip to Auburn.
“Earnest is working out with us with week and trying to recover,” Kirby said during his reguarly-scheudled press conference on Monday.
Greene has been dealing with injuries for some time. He was listed as "out" in the SEC's league-mandated availability report last week. Greene was seen not dressed out on the sideline during Georgia's 35-14 win over Kentucky in Sanford Stadium over the weekend.
Now the Bulldogs head to Auburn for the 130th edition of the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry.
"It is an intense, crazy environment," Kirby said of playing at Auburn.
Georgia kicks off with the Tigers at 7:30 on ABC.
