We were the better team last season....and with straight dealing refs, would have won that NCG. So, now it's must a matter of assessing who lost the most talent and who returns the most for this season. They lost their entire secondary and 7 players off of the D to the NFL. That's a lot of talent gone from their D. We lost some too and not having Smith will hurt, but Clark and Ledbetter played well in the Championship game against them. So, they'll be licking their chops to get back there. Our O is not going to miss a beat. So, I'm objectively gonna give the edge to us again. This is assuming they'll even get back to the SECCG. Don't just assume that, when you got a couple of strong teams on the schedule you're gonna have to deal with. Auburn won't be a push over. And Ole Miss' big 6'5" WRs is going to test that new secondary....write that down.
