AF, do you remember how big Sony was coming in as a FR, because I think the Sony comparison might be very accurate. I look for James Cook to take over the Swift role from last year, work in the slot, take some jet sweeps etc, and then get carries later in the game. I would imagine between his FR and soph years, he will pack on about 20lbs and be the same size as his brother, and that kid was a complete stud for the Noles.

Haney,

As a freshman, Sony Michel was listed at 5'11", 222 lbs. By the time he was a senior in 2017 he had lost 7 lbs. Then at the 2018 NFL Combine on 27 February he measured in at 5'10 5/8", 214 lbs.

According UGA's Football Roster, James Cook is 5'11", 190 lbs. Fwiw, his elder brother, Dalvin, measured in at 5'10", 210 lbs. at the 2017 NFL Combine.

I'm not too wrapped up in how big Cook is. I've seen pictures and he looks the part, but more importantly the dude can fly. He recorded a non wind-aided 10.63 100M running track in High School. And now he's been drawing raves at UGA camp. I don't care if he's a buck and a quarter soaking wet, if he's getting praise from D'Andre Walker, that's good enough for me.

And speaking of Walker, is anyone else expecting him to bust out this year? I get the sense he's chomping at the bit.

I'm expecting big things from him. Despite being a backup last season, he finished second on the team in tackles for loss.

D'Andre may be the first name to watch this year.

Holyfield and Herrien have shown quite a bit of ability I thought and are juniors now, if I can count. I read Holyfield was showing some real toughness and effort at camp. He might be a "surprise" in the backfield this season.

The OL might also be a factor, duh.

This team is very talented, obviously, it will come down to 4-5 critical plays that go our way, or don't.
