I think it's realistic, but I'm scare to proclaim that outloud just yet. I think even the Bama fans. or at least the ones with teeth in their mouth and braincells in their skull, can admit that we would have took them down if not for the ridiculous refs screwing us. So, you might as well say we were the best team in the nation last season....then we bring in the best recruiting class, maybe ever! And it looks like the current one is going to just as good or better! So there are no signs of us slowing down.
What we need this season is a strong follow up to last year's greatness without choking on our own success. With Bama losing 7 NFLrs on the D and their entire starting secondary gone, I think 3 schools are gonna give them problems...us, Auburn with Stidham and Ole Miss. They might be saddled with NCAA chains, but one thing they have is some great WRs and an underrated QB.
So I'm not sure the tide will even get back to the SECCG. So, if we can win the SEC and make the playoffs it's just going to solidify the idea that we are not going anywhere anytime soon. That's my two cents on it.
