I think our starting defensive line of DE Jonathan Ledbetter (6'4", 277 lbs), DT Julian Rochester (6'5", 300 lbs), and DT Tyler Clark (6'4", 305 lbs) is good.
I think DE David Marshall (6'3", 274 lbs), DE Malik Herring (6'3", 270 lbs), and DT Devonte Wyatt (6'3", 301 lbs) will be capable substitutes.
However, I don't feel confident at this time that if DT Michael Barnett (dislocated kneecap on 27 March 2018 which required surgery), DT Michail Carter (6'3", 295 lbs), DT DaQuan Hawkins-Muckle (6'4", 310 lbs), or DE Justin Young (sprained knee, missed scrimmage yesterday) were in and the game was on the line (e.g., 4th and goal on our 1-yd line) we'd get a strong push, pressure, or big play from them.
This summer a couple of 3* DT prospects will join the team in Jordan Davis (6'6", 330 lbs.) and Tramel Walthour (6'4", 277 lbs). Additionally, 4* WDE Azeez Ojulari (6'4", 224 lbs.) will join the team but it's questionable if he'll play this fall as he tore his right ACL on 24 November 2017 and had surgery on it on 15 December. Therefore, I'd be surprised if any of them proved to be impact players this fall for UGA.
IMO, as strong as UGA Football recruiting has been the last 3 years, they need to recruit the interior defensive line better.
