TAMPA - UGA Football head coach Kirby Smart spoke with the media on Tuesday morning and gave the latest injury update.
Bulldog center Drew Bobo injured his leg during Georgia’s win over missed the Georgia Tech in Atlanta last year and missed the Ole Miss game in the Sugar Bowl. Smart said he’s slowly getting back and taking reps heading into fall camp
“Drew (Bobo) looks great. He's taking reps. We'll probably load manage him some and not overdo him.”
Senior linebacker Raylen Wilson is in Tamp representing the Bulldogs during SEC Media Days. He was out this spring but is in good spirits this summer.
“Raylen had a knee issue in the spring but it's been good ever since. He’s fully back.”
“Freshman CB Justice Fitzpatrick is working his way back”, Smart said. “I want to say he’s six or seven months post ACL. So we don't know what he'll be able to do completely in camp.”

According to FanDuel, the Dallas Cowboys have -104 odds odds to make the NFL Playoffs next season.
Then there’s the injury that happened to Dante Dowdell after the spring.
“Leading to the Dante Dowdell situation, it's tough. I don't know when he'll be back. He had a off-campus accident back home during our break and we're praying for him and his family. I expect a full recovery, but you know, the outlook right now is we're waiting to see. We go day to day with him and see.”
“So I hate that for him and his family, but he's a great kid and it's been tough. A lot of our players have been over to see him and it's just one of those really tough situations. It’s serious enough for him not to be with us right now.
Second-year linebacker Zayden Walker, who showed flashes late last season as a freshman, missed spring practice but it’s getting back to being 100% healthy heading towards the fall.
“Zayden's back doing everything. He's been great. He had the shoulder. You know, we have a lot of shoulders every spring, but he's doing everything with us right now.”
On wide receiver Sacovie White...
“Sacovie (White) had a separated shoulder the day before the spring game and couldn't go, but he's done everything since.”
On Gabe Harris...
“Gabe's been doing good. Similar to Drew, it was a very significant injury. Those two were the two biggest missing pieces for us towards the end of the year and made it really tough. He's out there doing everything now. He did not do anything in the spring and we need him to have a big year.”
