ATHENS - It sounds like the Georgia Bulldogs could go another big recruiting run this week after another successful weekend hosting official visitors.

Sources say the Dawgs are trending in the right direction for several targets and one of them is four-star safety, Adryan Cole‍.

An in-state target that we’ve mentioned several times this spring and summer, Cole is a tough, secure-tackling safety who has been on Georgia’s radar for a long, long time. A major Florida Gator target, Cole told Dawg Post that he continues to feel like a priority for Kirby Smart and the Georgia staff.

“The overall message from Coach Smart and his staff was that they really want me at Georgia. They made it clear how much of a priority I am for them and how they see me fitting into the program.”

According to FanDuel, the Seattle Seahawks have +1000 odds to repeat as Super Bowl champions next season.

“What makes Georgia special to me is the culture and the people. The whole visit was great from start to finish. Being around the coaches, players, and staff showed me how connected everyone is and the standard they hold themselves to every day. Athens was a great experience, and getting to see everything firsthand definitely left a strong impression on me.”

On tape it’s easy to see why Cole is being heavily pursued by the Georgia staff. The 6-foot-1 190-pounder plays hard, shows good instincts in coverage, and is fundamentally sound with his footwork, change of direction, and ability to wrap up the ball-carrier consistently.

As a junior last season for Douglas County (GA), Cole made 69 tackles, two TFLs, one INT and several more pass-breakups. He’s ranked as the No. 13 safety and the No. 173 overall prospect in the country.
