ATHENS - Spring football is in the air. Recruiting is heating up. Pro Day is next week. Technically, you could say football is back.

On the recruiting trail, Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are still in search for new prospects to add to their recruiting board. They’re looking for top talent and extended two recent offers to new out-of-state targets.

One is three-star wide receiver, Cade Cooper‍. A 6-foot-2 190-pound pass-catcher from Pennsylvania, Cooper shined at Malvern Prep (PA) last season as a junior, showing he can stretch the field and high-point the football over defensive backs in tight coverage.

Cooper brings a promising frame, terrific ball skills, and can be a nightmare vertically due to his strong hands, length, and ability to snatch the football over defenders. He has official visits set up to Notre Dame the weekend of June 12th and Ole Miss the weekend of May 29th.

Now, the playmaking wideout has an offer from James Coley and the current SEC Champions. He’s ranked as the No. 52 WR and the No. 401 overall prospect in the 2027 class.

DON’T FORGET YOUR FANDUEL BETS!!

According to FanDuel, the Michigan Wolverines have -175 odds to make the Final Four in the NCAA tournament.

A new 2028 target to know about is four-star defender Tysir Young‍. A 6-foot-3 215-pound outside linebacker out of Middletown High in Delaware, Young is fresh off a dominant sophomore season where he lived in the backfield all season long. The dynamic pass-rusher caused consistent chaos, making 85 tackles 14.5 sacks, 13 TFLs, and two forced fumbled on defense.

Offensively, the two-way standout hauled in 16 passes at tight end for 264 yards and four touchdowns. All in all, Young showed last season he’s one of the top pass-rushers across the Northeast. Young is ranked as the No. 8 LB prospect in the country and the No. 116 overall prospect in the country for the 2027 class.
