ATHENS - Georgia Bulldog coach Kirby Smart signed another impressive offensive line class in the 2026 cycle led by five-star Ekene Ogboko‍.

Now, Smart and newly promoted offensive line coach Phil Rauscher are looking to load up again in the current 2027 class. Luckily, they won’t have to go far to accomplish that.

The Bulldogs have one current commitment in four-star tackle, Kelsey Adams‍. The mobile, athletic left tackle out of Langston Hughes (GA) is on the lighter side at 6-foot-5 260-pounds but should have no problem adding more muscle and mass over time. He moves well, can block in space, and is strong enough to dominate in the run game.

Adams will take official visits to Georgia (May 29th), LSU (June 5th), Miami (June 12th),  North Carolina (June 17th), and Ohio State (June 20th). He’s currently ranked as the No. 13 OT prospect and the No. 125 overall prospect in the county.

Five-star tackle Mark Matthews‍ is the big prize, ranked as the No. 5 overall prospect, but sources say the local Miami Hurricanes will be tough to beat in the end.

Two more out-of state offensive tackle prospects to know include four-star Jimmy Kalis‍ and three-star Ty Johnson‍.

Kalis, one of the top overall prospects in Pennsylvania, stands at 6-foot-6 285-pounds. He’s high on Georgia and got an in-home visit from the Bulldog staff in early February. He’s also familiar with five-star running back commitment Kemon Spell‍, another Pennsylvania native.

Johnson is a South Carolina native with Georgia ties. Lower-ranked at the moment, Johnson is a big, physical tackle with above-average athleticism at 6-foot-6 280-pounds. He’ll be in Athens for a big official visit this summer and is someone Bulldog fans need to keep a close eye on.

Then there are the in-state targets...

DON’T FORGET YOUR FANDUEL BETS!!

According to FanDuel, the Chicago Bears have +390 odds of winning the NFC North next season.

A metro-Atlanta tackle to keep a close eye on is Lithonia (GA) left tackle, Kennedee Jackson‍. One of the fastest-rising offensive tackle prospects in the country, sources say Jackson is towards the top of Georgia’s board at tackle for the 2027 class. The big 6-foot-8 300-pounder was in Athens this week for a big unofficial visit and will be back for his official visit the weekend of June 12th. He’s currently ranked as the No. 11 OT prospect and the No. 120 overall prosect in the county.

Grayson (GA) tackle, Jordan Agbanoma‍ is one of the top interior line prospects across the country who is high on Georgia’s board. The Bulldogs ar ein Agbanoma’s top group and will have him on campus for a big official visit the weekend of June 19th. The 6-foot-4 310-pounder has Georgia in his top five along with Miami, Nebraska, Florida, and Texas A&M. He’s currently ranked as the No. 6 interior OL prospect and the No. 72 overall prospect.

Another Atlanta-area offensive tackle to know about is four-star Joshua Sam-Epelle‍. A giant 6-foot-8 305-pounder out of Douglas County (GA) who has always been high on Georgia, Sam-Epelle is a multi-year starter already with length, mobility, and plenty of experience against talented South Fulton defenders. He’s ranked as the No. 10 OT prospect and the No. 107 overall prospect.

Other in-state offensive line prospects to know:

Timmi Aliu - Locust Grove

JJ Brown - Parkview

Braylon Mills - Houston County

Abram Eisenhower - Lowndes

Jordan Dillon - Savannah Christian

Tyler Ford - Gainesville
