ATHENS - After signing 17 in-state prospects in the 2026 class, Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are sitting in an excellent position to do the same in this current cycle.

The Bulldogs only have two in-state commitments at the moment but are trending in the right direction for many prospects across the state.

One prospect high on Georgia right now is Cherokee Bluff standout, Dylan Haley‍. The Flowery Branch native is a do-it-all prospect who shines in coverage and shows terrific hands when making a play on the ball.

He brings an impressive frame for a defensive back at 6-foot-2 190-pounds who natural instincts in coverage. One of the better athletes on the field at all times, Haley is one of the fastest-rising two-way athletes in the state who can really snag the football.

DON’T FORGET YOUR FANDUEL BETS!!

According to FanDuel, the Notre Dame QB CJ Carr has +800 odds to win the Heisman Trophy next season.

As a pass-catcher last season, Haley hauled in 47 passes for 566 yards and six touchdowns. His potential is easy to see and he’s someone Georgia fans should keep a close eye on.

“What stands out most about Coach Smart is how he treats his players”, Haley told Dawg Post. “Any time that I’ve been an around him and spent time with him I know he means what he says. You can just tell he is genuine and does everything at a high level which is the way his program is ran. That’s what impresses me most about Georgia. It’s that everything they do they do it to the highest level and you see that mindset throughout the building when you are there.”

Haley told Dawg Post that he’ll be in Athens for a big spring visit on March 19th with plans to take an official visit this summer.
