ATHENS - The recruiting train continues to roll for Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs.

After hosting several top in-state prospects in January, many have already scheduled their big official visit to Georgia this summer.

One in-state offensive lineman to keep a close eye on is Grayson (GA) right tackle, Jordan Agbanoma‍. One of the fastest-rising offensive line prospects across the South, the giant 6-foot-4 315-pounder holds offers from Georgia, Miami, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Auburn, Ole Miss, among others.

Agbanoma was in Athens for a big Jr. Day visit at the end of January and will be back in town for his official visit the weekend of June 19th

“I like how they run the program”, Agbanoma told Dawg Post. “How they have consistently proven to put guys in the NFL and how they prepare guys for the NFL. I feel as if I am definitely a priority. I like coach Rauscher. He has a plan for my development and how to get me to where I want to be.”

Agbanoma is ranked as the No. 5 interior OL prospect and the No. 89 overall prospect in the country for the 2027 class.

DON’T FORGET YOUR FANDUEL BETS!!

According to FanDuel, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish have +650 odds of winning the national championship.

Another in-state target who has locked in an official visit is Parkview (GA) tackle, JJ Brown‍. A former tight end who grew into a dependable left tackle last season, Brown is a physically gifted tackle with impressive mobility, allowing him to take defenders completely right out of the play. He’s tough, brings a lengthy 6-foot-6 270-pound frame, and showed plenty of potential last season as a junior.

The promising 2027 tackle is high on Georgia and will be back in Athens for his big official visit the weekend of June 5th.

“What stands out most about Kirby Smart and the Bulldog program is the standard and culture they’ve built. It’s all about development, accountability, and winning at the highest level, and you can feel how real and consistent that message is throughout the program.”

Another metro-Atlanta tackle to know is Lithonia (GA) two-way standout, Kennedee Jackson‍. A physically imposing offensive tackle who also shines on defense, Jackson is a giant at 6-foot-8 300-pounds who earned an offer from the Bulldogs back on January 21st.  Now he plans to be back for his official visit the weekend of June 12th.

When you turn on the tape it’s easy to see why Georgia and many others extended an offer. He’s long, physical, and moves really well for his size. Jackson is a terrific run blocker who can dominate his opponents with ease in that area of the offense. His length and lean frame should allow him to evolve into a dependable pass-protector as well. If he continues to perfect his craft and technique over the next several months, Jackson could be in store for an outstanding final season in 2026.
