ATHENS - UGA Football coach Kirby Smart gave reporters a statement on injured starting center Drew Bobo Sunday.
Bobo was seen on crutches Friday during Georgia’s 16-9 win over Georgia Tech after leaving the game with what appeared to be a leg injury.
Kirby said after the game that was “not sure” about Bobo’s injury. “(He’s) got an ankle, foot - not sure.”
On Sunday Kirby didn’t add much.
“No more update,” he said when asked about Bobo. “Still looking into things with him.”
Kirby and the Bulldogs will have to provide an official update with the SEC’s Student-Athlete Availability Report Wednesday night ahead of the showdown with No. 10 Alabama in the SEC Championship Game Saturday in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
