ATHENS - It’s that time of the year. Recruiting season is here, and that means Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs will be hosting major prospects on campus starting this weekend and throughout the summer.

They also have their eyes set on new prospects to add to their recruiting board. Here are three in-state prospects who recently earned their big Georgia offer.

Zachary Lewis - OL - North Gwinnett

One of the top right tackles across the state last season, Lewis is a promising offensive lineman on the rise out of North Gwinnett who has a bright future at guard at the next level. The 6-foot-5 280-pounder was a bully last season who had a giant season against quality competition on a weekly basis. Playing in one of the most talented regions across the state, Lewis more than held his own week after week. He plays with a mean streak and has no problem burying defenders into the ground. He’s one of the top returning lineman in the state and is bound for a massive final season in 2025. He’s also earned recent offers from South Carolina and North Carolina with more likely coming his way.

Jordan Agbanoma - OT - Grayson

One of the fastest-rising 2027 prospects in Georgia, this impressive-looking right tackle out of Grayson is seeing his recruitment take off right now with recent offers from Georgia, South Carolina, Purdue, and Nebraska will more coming his way soon. He’s long, athletic, and shined all season long at right tackle, helping lead the Rams to a state-championship season. He moves well for his size and uses his length and natural strength to overpower defenders with ease. He played against outstanding competition all season long and consistently won his matchups both in pass protection and in the running game. He sure didn’t play like a sophomore last season and will likely be one of the top tackle prospects in Georgia for the 2027 class.

“I was extremely excited when I got the Georgia offer”, Agbanoma told Dawg Post. “I know UGA is a prestigious program ad one of the best in the country.”

DON’T FORGET YOUR FANDUEL BETS!!

According to FanDuel, the Minnesota Timberwolves have +220 odds to win the NBA Western Conference this summer.

Chase Johnson - ATH - Emmanuel County Institute

A phenomenal athlete who can make plays in all three phases of the game, Johnson is a small-town prospect with tremendous ball skills in a lengthy frame. He’s a natural defensive back who plays the ball like a receiver and is looking to score when he gets his hands on it. He brings plenty of speed when running the ball and was consistently one of the best athletes on the field at all times last year as a sophomore. He’s a natural playmaker whose stock is on the rise, and now he holds an offer from the in-state Georgia Bulldogs. Look for Johnson, one of the top DBs in Georgia for the 2027 class, to continue to see big offers come his way.

Kingston Brown - DL - Carver-Columbus

One of the top 2028 prospects in Georgia, Brown might be young, but he’s a a guy who could easily push for 5-star status down the road. As a freshman last season, this lean 6-foot-3 265-pounder played like a seasoned veteran, showing explosiveness off the snap and shedding blocks with ease all season. He’s naturally strong, has a lengthy frame, and plays with a high motor. His stock is soaring and he has a chance to earn every major offer in the country sooner than later. The Bulldogs have offered and are expected to be a serious contender in his recruitment throughout the process.
