ATHENS -  The summer is approaching and that means its “official visit season” for Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs.

The Dawgs are off to a strong start in the 2026 class and are once again hoping to sing a top-3 class or better in the current recruiting cycle.

The Bulldogs have nine current commitments and will have several major targets on town this weekend for an official visit during their annual “Scavenger Hunt” weekend.

Here are the expected official visitors....

5-star OL Darius Gray‍ - St. Christopher's School (VA)

An elite offensive line prospect with a big, powerful frame at 6-foot-3 285-pounds, Gray is ranked as the No. 1 interior offensive line prospect and the No. 32 overall prospect in the country. The Bulldogs offered almost two years ago and Gray told Dawg Post that he has a great relationship with offensive line coach Stacy Searels.

“Georgia is a team I grew up watching. I love everything about Coach Searls. He’s a guy a kid would love to play for. Everything about him is what you would want.”

Other teams heavily involved in Gray’s recruitment are LSU, Tennessee, Ohio State, among others.

4-star ATH Jalen Lott‍ - Panther Creek (TX)

One of the top prospects in Texas and one of the best pure athletes across the country, Lott is a do-it-all prospect who shines at both wide receiver and cornerback for his Panther creek squad. The 6-foot-0 170-pounder is electric with the ball in his hands, catching 85 passes last season for 1,111 yards and 16 touchdowns while rushing for four more scores. He’s also an exceptional defensive back who can lock down his side of the field. He’s ranked as the No. 2 ATH and the No. 55 overall prospect in the country. Look for the Georgia staff to roll out the red carpet for this dynamic playmaker this weekend.

DON’T FORGET YOUR FANDUEL BETS!!

According to FanDuel, the New York Knicks have +125 odds to win the NBA Eastern Conference this summer.

4-star WR Ryan Mosley‍ - Carrollton (GA)

An in-state wideout that Dawg Post members know all about by now, Mosley is a two-way standout who has said previously that Georgia likes him both as a wideout and a defensive back. He’s one of the top overall athletes in the South who caught 55 passes as a junior last fall for 848 yards and a team-leading 12 touchdowns. He’s ranked as the No. 11 ATH and the No. 241 overall prospect in the country. If things go well, look for the Dawgs to take a commanding lead in his recruitment. Right now, sources say the Bulldogs are the team to beat with teams like South Carolina and Auburn also in the mix.

4-star LB Shadarius Toodle‍ - Cottage Hill Christian (AL)

One of the top linebackers across the South, this Mobile, Alabama native is currently committed to the Auburn Tigers but will be in Athens this week for a big official visit. As a junior last season, the 6-foot-3 220-pounder made 157 tackles, 13 TFLs, two sacks and one INT. He’s ranked as the No. 12 LB prospect and the No.186 overall prospect in the 2026 class.

4-star LB Nick Abrams II‍ -  McDonough School (MD)

A quick-reacting, instinctive 6’2 220-pounder from Maryland that sources say has quickly climbed up Georgia’s linebacker board, Abrams has always been high on Georgia snd confirmed with Dawg Post that he’ll be in town this weekend for an official visit. He has a “Final Four” including Georgia, Michigan, Alabama and Oregon. He’s ranked as the No.14 LB and the No. 202 overall prospect in the country for the 2026 class.

“Coach Schumann is a great coach. He’s developed and put guys in the NFL consistently. The scheme at Georgia fits me perfectly. The system is a dream for linebackers and it’s almost impossible not to thrive in it.”

4-star DL Keshawn Stancil‍ - Clayton (NC)

A dominant defensive lineman with a lean 6-foot-3 260-pound frame, Stancil lived in the backfield as a junior last year as he made 63 tackles and 22 TFLs to go along with nine sacks. He’s been a Georgia target for a long time now and the Dawgs have a chance to take the momentum in his recruitment with a successful official visit this weekend. Stancil is ranked as the No. 15 DL prospect and the No. 142 overall prospect in the country. The four-star lineman also has official visits lined up to Miami, Penn State, Tennessee and N.C State.

4-star DL Preston Carey‍ - IMG Academy (FL)

One of the top DL prospects in Florida, Carey is a 6-foot-5 300-pound interior lineman with long arms, big hands, and the ability to take on double teams in the trenches. A New York native, Carey has shined at IMG Academy and holds 40+ D1 offers. He’s big, strong, and someone sources say the Georgia staff is high on. He’s one to keep an eye on this summer.

3-star DL Tyson Bacon‍ - Hoover (AL)

A former Tennessee Vols commitment, Bacon is a three-star lineman from Alabama who will be in town this weekend for his official visit. He may not be towards the top of Tray Scott’s recruiting board, but he’s a prospect to still keep an eye on. As a junior last fall, the 6-foot-4 265-pounder made 33 tackles and six TFLs. He’s ranked as the No. 45 DL prospect and the No. 429 overall prospect in the country.
