ATHENS - The offers continue to fly out of Athens from Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs.
After another big weekend where major prospects came to check out Georgia’s spring scrimmage, many of them left the Classic City with a big offer.
One of those prospects was high four-star, Nolan Wilson. One of the nation’s top DL prospects, the impressive 6-foot-4 250-pound Mississippi native out of Picayune Memorial High School had a lot to say about his new Georgia Bulldog offer.
“It was a great feeling to get that Georgia offer”, Wilson said. “Coach Diribe has been trying to get me to come to Athens since last season and he kept expressing how much he would love for me to come see him so I finally was able to make the trip. Coach Scott was so excited that I made the trip and as soon as I got there he extended me and offer. Then right before practice Kirby Smart came and found me and was talking to me and telling me how much he would love to coach me. Then after practice Coach Diribe told me he appreciated me taking time to come see him and then he offered me again. The entire staff definitely showed me that I was wanted and was a huge priority for them.”

According to FanDuel, the Atlanta Falcons have +240 odds to win the NFC South during the 2025 season regular season next fall.
“I know the program has a history of being elite and dominant with a winning culture”, Wilson added. “I know the way Mykel Williams was such a dominant force and they said they believed that I could be the next him if I became a Bulldog!!!”
When you turn on the film, it’s easy to see why the Bulldogs and many other top programs have pulled the trigger on an offer. He brings a promising frame, explosiveness off the snap, and the ability to deliver a big hit on the quarterback. He shows quick, strong hands that allow him to shed blocks and knows how to close quickly on the ball-carrier. He’s an above-average athlete with a strong first step that allows him to get into the backfield with ease. He’s one of the top pass-rushers in Mississippi and hasn’t even come close to scratching the surface of his potential.
Wilson is currently ranked as the No.3 DL prospect and the No. 51 overall prospect in the country for the 2026 class.
