ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs had a slew of major visitors in town over the weekend to watch the Bulldogs practice.
One major target in town was four-star running back, Javian Osborne. The four-star out of Forney (TX) was in Athens earlier this year for an important Jr. Day visit and was back in Athens for a multi-day visit this past weekend to take in a spring practice.
Osborne has said previously that he’s high on Georgia and quickly recapped his latest visit with Dawg Post.
“I learned that practice is one of a kind at Georgia”, Osborne said. “I think no one practices as hard and as physical at 100 percent every rep then Georgia. It’s a testament to their success. Watching practice was very intense. I loved seeing Coach Smart out there getting to it interacting with guys!”

According to FanDuel, the Georgia Bulldogs have +9500 odds to win the Midwest Region in the NCAA tournament.
The 5-foot-9 195-pounder also has spring visits lined up to Notre Dame on Tuesday, Florida State on Saturday, Michigan on the 28th, Miami on April 4.
The playmaking Texas back will be back in Athens for his big official visit the weekend of April 11th.
Ranked as the No. No. 8 RB and No. 97 overall prospect in the country for the 2026 class, Osborne ran for 1,085 yards and 21 touchdowns last year in just nine games. He’s one of the top overall backs in the country and someone Georgia fans should keep a close eye on over the next several weeks.
Other major running back targets to know include 5-star Savion Hiter, 4-star Derrek Cooper, 4-star Jae Lamar, among others. Other programs heavily involved in Osborne’s recruitment include SMU, Miami, Alabama, Michigan, among others.
