ATHENS - One of the nation’s top defensive line prospects in the 2026 class has set an official visit to Georgia.

That would be Buford (GA) standout, Bryce Perry-Wright‍.

The playmaking interior lineman may be on the smaller end in compared to others that Georgia has signed over the years, but make no mistake, this 6-foot-2 250-pounder is an extremely productive defender who has made a giant impact for the Wolves over the last two seasons.

Over the last two seasons as a sophomore and a junior, Perry-Wright has totaled over 100 tackles and 16.5 sacks. Playing alongside other elite defenders, this high four-star has consistently been one of the best players on the field every time he straps it up.

The Bulldogs offered the nearby lineman later than most, but it appears they’ve started to turn up the heat on this impactful local defender.

Perry-Wright was in Athens in late January and spoke with Dawg Post about that visit.

According to FanDuel, the Baltimore Ravens have +650 odds to win the 2026 Super Bowl next season.

“I had a great visit at UGA”, Perry-Wright said. “The atmosphere is amazing. I got to sit with Coach Kirby Smart which was so cool! He gave me good knowledge of the game of football and told me to continue to be dominant! Tray Scott gave me advice on things I can work on to make myself a better player on and off the field. The message from Coach Smart and his assistants was to continue being a dominant player and stay disciplined.”

Now, Perry-Wright tells Dawg Post he’ll be in Athens for his official visit in early June.

Here’s Perry-Wright’s official visit schedule this summer:

May 16-18 - Auburn

May 30-June 1st - Clemson

June 6-8 - Georgia

June 13-15 - Texas

June 20-22 - Texas A&M
