ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs steal away a playmaking defensive back commitment from the Florida Gators.

That would be former UAB Blazer defensive back, Adrian Maddox.

The playmaking defender entered the portal and committed to Florida, but today flipped his commitment to Georgia. The Conyers, Georgia native made an impressive 44 tackles, two forced fumbles, and a 99-yard INT return touchdown for the Blazers last fall. He’s a veteran with plenty of playing experience who has improved more and more each season, starting at Alabama State before making his way to UAB. After a strong 2024 season, several schools reached out, and it was Georgia who would end up landing the former in-state prospect.

DON’T FORGET YOUR FANDUEL BETS!!!

According to FanDuel, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has +650 odds to win Super Bowl MVP this season.

The 6-foot-3 200-pounder joins safety Zion Branch and safety Jaden Harris as Bulldog transfers heading into Georgia’s secondary this spring.

Sources say he has one more year of eligibility.
