ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs have added another defensive back through the transfer portal.

After landing former USC Trojans safety Zion Branch a few days ago, Smart and the Bulldogs have landed safety Jaden Harris through the transfer portal.

The Atlanta native out of Riverwood high school signed with Miami in the 2022 class and made a giant impact for the Miami Hurricanes this past season, making 40 total tackles and one INT. A starter this past season for Miami, Harris is a sure-tackling defender with strong instincts in coverage. He brings good size at 6-foot-0 195-pounds and will hope to push for playing time this fall.

The Bulldogs were looking for more depth in the secondary, and now they’ve landed an experienced player who is looking to end his college career on a high note in Athens.
