These Georgia Bulldog Freshmen Shined During The Regular Season

ATHENS - Going into the regular season, Georgia Bulldog fans were excited to see several true freshmen from Georgia’s elite 2024 recruiting class.
Here’s how some of Georgia’s top freshmen played this season...
Running back Nate Frazier
The elite runner from California was one of the very best running back prospects out of high school in the 2024 class and has turned heads throughout the 2024 season. He got his freshman year off to a big start with an outstanding first game against Clemson, rushing for 83 yards in one touchdown. His role decreased some when starter Trevor Etienne came back from his one-game suspension, but Frazier still saw significant playing time throughout the fall. So far this season, Frazier has run for 634 yards and 8 touchdowns including a game-winning score against Georgia Tech.

Safety KJ Bolden
An elite prospect out of high school that Georgia flipped from Florida State, Bolden is a speedy athlete who has made play after play for the Bulldogs this season as a freshman. The quick-reacting, hard-hitting safety was named an SEC Freshman All-American this fall after making 54 tackles, one sack, and one INT. Look for the former Buford star to be one of the best defensive backs in the SEC, and across college football next season.

Linebacker Chris Cole
Another SEC Freshman All-American selection, Cole is a former 5-star prospect from Virginia with impressive length, athleticism, and natural instincts. Even in a backup role, Cole found a way to see the field often this fall and earned the trust of the defensive coaching staff. The impressive 6-foot-3 235-pounder has made 16 tackles so far this season along with two TFLs and two fumble recoveries, taking one back for a touchdown.
Defensive lineman Joseph Jonah-Ajonye
While he only made one tackle before his season-ending injury, this outstanding young defender from Texas saw the field early this season in year one and will only get better next season. He’s still new to the game, but getting on the field early in the season says a lot about his development so far and the trust the staff has in him. Once he’s healthy again, look for this promising defender to keep developing and possibly have a breakout sophomore season in 2025.
