ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs lose a talented young receiver to the transfer portal as freshman pass-catcher Nitro Tuggle‍ plans to look for other opportunities.

Tuggle appeared in seven games this fall, catching three passes for 34 yards. The Bulldogs have had inconsistent receiver play this fall and many expected Tuggle to see a bigger role in the offense next year as a sophomore.

However, the former four-star receiver from Indiana wants to find another home. The transfer portal is officially open, and Tuggle leaving opens up another spot in Georgia’s receiving room.
