ATHENS- No. 2 UGA Football’s kickoff time against the No. 19 Ole Miss Rebels has been set for 3:30 PM EST on ABC.
Kirby Smart Georgia’s fourth and final road game of the season will come next weekend on Nov. 9. All three of Georgia’s previous road matchups at Texas, Alabama and Kentucky were 7:30 PM EST kickoffs. This game was one of the flex kicks, meaning that it could have been a night game. Instead, Disney opted to make Alabama-LSU the primetime kickoff on that date- a matchup that has traditionally been played at night over the years.
Georgia faced Ole Miss in a ranked matchup in Athens last season. The Dawgs routed the Rebels 52-17 on the back of a strong performance from both Kendall Milton and Daijun Edwards. The last time Georgia played in Oxford was in 2016, and Ole Miss won that game 45-14.
