ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs may not have a five-star receiver on the commit list right now, but that’s perfectly fine.

Receivers coach James Coley has four receivers committed in the 2025 class and each one has started their senior season in a big way.

Here’s how they played over the weekend...

3-star Landon Roldan‍ - North Oconee (GA)

It’s clear the Bulldogs are getting a steal in current three-star Landon Roldan. A versatile, big-play machine at nearby North Oconee, this electric 6-foot-0 180-pound pass-catcher did a little bit over everything during his team’s 36-13 win over Clarke Central. He caught seven passes for 185 yards and three touchdowns while rushing twice for 10 yards and two more touchdowns. Defensively, Roldan is a playmaking defensive back and forced a fumble during the big win. A natural athlete, Roldan is proving why he’s one of the more dynamic receivers across the state in the 2025 class.

4-star Thomas Blackshear‍ - Calvary Day (GA)

One of the top two-way players in Georgia, Blackshear is on tear at wide receiver and has caught 13 passes through his first two games of the season for an eye-opening 346 yards and three touchdowns. Over the weekend, the 6-foot-1 200-pounder scored two touchdowns, running past defenders down the field on both scores. He’s been a dominant weapon this season and has been one of the state’s most productive receivers through the first three weeks of the season.

Blackshear didn’t play in week one, but in a week two loss to Oceanside, Blackshear hauled in 10 passes for 137 yards and one touchdown. In a week three win over Southeast Bulloch, he caught three passes for 209 yards and two TDs.

According to FanDuel, the New York Jets have +700 odds to win the AFC Championship this upcoming season.

4-star Talyn Taylor‍: Geneva Community (IL)

Georgia’s highest-ranked commitment is off to an excellent start to his senior season. During a dominant 63-0 win in week one where he hauled in three passes for 73 yards and two touchdowns, this elite pass-catcher caught six passes this past weekend for 175 yards and three more touchdowns. He’s one of the nation’s top receiver prospects and has proven it so far this fall. He’s only caught nine passes so far this season, but he’s taken them 248 yards and has scored five touchdowns. He’s ranked as the No. 9 WR and the No. 50 overall prospect in the country.

4-star Tyler Williams‍ - Armwood (FL)

A big-play receiver at 6-foot-1 205-pounds, Williams had a quiet game on Saturday night with two catches for 34 yards, but his team did come out on top with a victory and a 3-0 start to the season. Williams did appear to score a touchdown in the game, but it was called back due to a penalty. Through his first three games, Williams has caught eight passes for 184 yards and one touchdown.
