ATHENS - Fall camp is right around the corner for Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs, but as always, they’ve got one final eye on the recruiting trail.
The Georgia staff had plenty of targets and prospects in town for one final recruiting weekend of the summer, and several out-of-state campers looking for an offer were able to earn one on Friday.
Here are some new Georgia Bulldog targets to keep an eye on for the future...
Mack Sutter - Dunlap (IL)
A big, do-it-all type of athlete who can play quarterback, wide receiver, tight end, and defensive end, Sutter brings plenty of size a 6-foot-6 230-pounds with easy athleticism. He’s a natural playmaker who can help in a lot of different ways. A physical player with the ability to help in the passing game, Sutter was offered by tight ends coach Todd Hartley this weekend after an impressive workout this weekend in Athens.
Zion Legree - Pine Forest (FL)
A speedy wideout who led his team in receiving last year with 31 catches for 557 yards and five touchdowns, Legree was a vertical weapon with enough burst off the line to sneak past defenders on vertical routes down the field. A shifty receiver who can get open on his own, Legree earned an offer this weekend after a strong camp performance in front of James Coley and the offensive staff. The 6-foot-1 190-pounder also holds offers from Missouri, Florida, Miami, Ole Miss, Washington, among others.
Quinton Cipher - Millbrook (NC)
A playmaking linebacker out of Millbrook High School in Raleigh, North Carolina who lit up the stat sheet as a sophomore last fall. He brings a lean 6-foot-3 215-pound frame and has a true nose for the football, making 155 tackles (95 solo), 8.5 TFs, three sacks, two INTs, three pass deflections, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble. He reacts quickly, knows how to wrap up, and can make plays in coverage. He earned an offer on Friday after impressing defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann during a prospect camp in Athens. He’s young, but he’s an impressive rising junior middle linebacker to know in the 2027 class.
Julian Peterson - Winslow Township (NJ)
A lean, fundamentally sound defensive back from New Jersey, Peterson brings outstanding speed in a promising 6-foot-2 175-pound frame. He’s a natural athlete who can play multiple positions and make plays with the ball in his hands, Peterson is a fast-rising defensive back who earned his offer during an impressive camp performance in front of the defensive staff this weekend.
