ATHENS - With the dead period closing on February 5th, Kirby Smart and the UGA football staff have been hitting the road, and the sky, hard this month looking for more targets find in the 2025 class and beyond.

As expected, the Georgia staff found new prospects to target with several earning an offer from the Dawgs over the last few days.

A new offensive line prospect to know is Cross County (AR) sophomore Danny Beale. The 6-foot-4 315-pounder is a punishing two-way lineman who can clog running lanes as a defender while mauling oppossing linemen on offense. He’s big, physical, and has earned offers from Georgia, Auburn, and Arkansas this month. He’s a 2026 lineman to keep an eye on and briefly spoke about his Georgia offer to Dawg Post.

“When I received the offer i was greatly appreciative because they just won the back to back national championship two years in a row. It was a honor, and I know the UGA program is a hard working, great program.”

At quarterback, Decatur Central (IN) gunslinger Bo Polston is a name to remember in the 2026 class. The 6-foot-3 200-pounder accounted for 2,100 total yards last fall with 25 TDS  and 8 INTs, leading his team to an impressive 11-3 overall record.

As a prospect, he runs hard and has natural arm talent. An above-average athlete, Polston shows quick feet and the ability to attack defenses down the field. Now, he’s on Georgia’s radar.

A playmaking receiver to know in the 2025 class is Sumner High (FL) junior, Tyler Williams. A 6-foot-1 195-pound, sure-handed receiver on the rise, Williams is coming off a big junior season where he only caught 26 passes but took off for 585 yards and 14 touchdowns in 11 games. He also added three punt returns for touchdowns and two kick returns for touchdowns last year. Georgia offered back on January 26th, and he’s since added new offers from South Carolina, Florida, and Texas A&M.

Staying in Florida, Cardinal Gibbons standout Derrek Cooper is a 2026 two-way player who added an offer from the Bulldogs this week. He shows good size and excellent ball skills at 6-foot-1 200-pounds who knows how to make a play on the ball. He’s quick and instinctive in the secondary who closes well on the receiver while having the ability to make a sound, physical tackle on the ball-carrier. Defensively, Cooper made 49 tackles along with four INTs. He was a very impactful player as a sophomore and he’ll only get better over the next two years. He has an offer from Georgia, and more are likely on the way.
