ATHENS - After signing six massive offensive linemen in the 2024 class, Kirby Smart and Stacy Searels are after some of the nation’s best once again in the 2025 class.

The peach-state is absolutely LOADED with high-caliber offensive line prospects, and assistant coach Stacy Searels went to check on the very best on Monday.

That would be high 4-star, Josh Petty‍. Ranked as the No. 3 OT prospect and the No. 18 overall prospect in the country, Petty is a lean, athletic 6-foot-4 275-pound tackle out Fellowship Christian School in Roswell, Georgia.

Petty dominated on both sides of the line of scrimmage when Dawg Post saw him play in person to kick off the 2023 season back in mid-August. He has easy 5-star potential and is one of Georgia’s top targets on the offensive line for the 2025 cycle.

Sources say the Bulldogs are firmly in the mix for Petty, but they’ll have to fight off schools like Tennessee, Clemson, Georgia Tech, and many others.

According to FanDuel, the Georgia Bulldogs have +17000 odds to win the SEC Regular Season Title this season.

Another elite offensive line target to know is 5-star David Sanders‍. Another lean, promising tackle with a 6-foot-6 260-pound frame that will allow him to add more muscle and mass over time, some around the Georgia program believe he is the very best prospect in the country for the 2025 class. Right now, sources tell Dawg Post that Georgia and Clemson could be the two teams out in front for Sanders behind the scenes. He’s no stranger to Athens, and it seems clear the Dawgs will be in the race for Sanders throughout his recruitment.

As for where Kirby Smart was on Monday, he was in North Georgia checking in on programs like Gainesville, Cedar Grove, Southwest Dekalb, Cartersville and Cedartown.

At Cedar Grove, Smart made sure to check in on 2025 running back commit Bo Walker, who made a visit to Athens two weekends ago. At Cedartown, Smart made sure to take a quick picture with 4-star DB Tae Harris, who de-committed from Georgia over the weekend.
