ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are on the road looking for big-time prospects to add to their recruiting board.

Offers are flying out of Athens, and Dawg Post caught up with some new Bulldog targets that Georgia fans need to keep a close eye on.

One new prospect to know about it freshman two-way standout, Duvay Williams. The 6-foot-1 170-pounder out of Junipero Serra (CA) is a tremendous natural athlete with burst, ball skills, and versatility. He made play after play last year on both sides of the ball and did it as a freshman. The Dawgs have offered, and more are likely on the way.

“I was very excited about the offer”, Williams said. “My dad was right there next to me so it was a special moment for both of us. I know the UGA program has had a lot of success over the years. I can see the coaches develop you because they want to see you succeed. They have a passionate fanbase and really talented players. It’s always exciting to watch them play on the field and I can see myself down the road playing with the Georgia Bulldogs. I can already hear the crowd roar.”

A new receiver target to know in the 2025 class is three-star Corey Simms. An up and coming wideout out of Christian Brothers College in St. Louis is about to see his recruitment take off after catching 79 passes for 1,049 yards and 12 touchdowns last fall. With Georgia extending an offer, look for other major programs to do the same. He’s a big-lay receiver with good size at 6-foot-3 190-pounds and spoke briefly about his offer from the Dawgs.

“I was really excited about this offer. UGA is a great program. They’re well coached and always produce great receivers. “I’m looking for building a relationship with UGA. I hope to get down to Athens between March 8-10 when my 7vs7 California power team plays in Atlanta.

A new quarterback to keep an eye on is four-star, Matt Zollers. A big 6-foot-3 205-pounder out of Spring-Ford (PA), Zollers proved last fall that he’s one of the top quarterback prospects in the Northeast. He’s coming off a big junior season where he threw for just under 3,000 yards with 37 touchdowns and just two INTs. He also rushed for 420 yards and seven touchdowns.

“I was very happy when coach Bobo offered me”, Zollers said.  “I don’t know much about them yet but I know that they are a great football program.”
