ATHENS, Ga. – Former Georgia Bulldogs have continued to shine during week 14 of the National Football League’s regular season as several players are among the league’s leaders in several statistical categories.
The Ravens’ Roquan Smith ranks third in total tackles with 136, the Lions’ D’Andre Swift is in fourth for rushing yards with 822, the Bills’ James Cook ranks third among running backs in scrimmage yards with 1,180 and the Buccaneers’ Jake Camarda holds the fifth spot for total punting yardage with 3,151.
Patriots 21, Steelers 18
David Andrews, OC – Started at center for the Patriots as the team picked up its second road win of the season over the Steelers, outgaining the opponent with 303 total yards.
Broderick Jones, OT – Earned the start at right tackle for Pittsburgh, earning credit for a tackle while appearing in all 70 offensive snaps.
George Pickens, WR – Brought in five catches for a total of 19 yards for the Steelers while lining up for 86 percent of the team’s plays on offense.
Darnell Washington, TE – Appeared as Pittsburgh’s starting tight end, earning one reception on two targets for 12 yards.
Buccaneers 29, Falcons 25
Jake Camarda, P – Punted six times for Tampa Bay in its road win for a total of 325 yards. Camarda averaged 54.2 yards per attempt with a long of 63, pinning the Falcons inside their 20-yard line twice. He stands fifth in the league in punting yardage on the least number of attempts in the top five with 63.
Lorenzo Carter, OLB – Saw action as a reserve linebacker for the Falcons, notching three tackles in 29 defensive snaps and also appearing in 16 special teams plays.
John Fitzpatrick, TE – Played 11 snaps on special teams as a backup tight end for Atlanta, recording no statistics.
Ravens 37, Rams 31
Ben Cleveland, OG – Appeared in five special teams plays as a reserve guard in the Ravens’ win, recording no statistics.
Roquan Smith, ILB – Posted a team-high 10 tackles, including two for loss, and a quarterback hurry for Baltimore. Smith, who notched his fifth consecutive game with at least eight tackles, is now tied for the third-most in the statistic with 136.
Matthew Stafford, QB – Threw 23 completions for 294 yards and three touchdowns in the Rams’ loss. This marked Stafford’s third-straight game throwing at least three touchdowns, upping his season total to 19. At the age of 35 years and 306 days, Stafford now stands with 352 career touchdown passes and becomes the sixth quarterback in NFL history to reach 350 in the statistic before turning 36. He joinw Pro Football Hall of Famers Brett Favre, Peyton Manning and Dan Marino as well as Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers.
Derion Kendrick, CB – Started at cornerback for Los Angeles for the 11th time this season, recording three tackles while playing in all 72 of the team’s defensive snaps.
Warren McClendon Jr., OT – Was listed as not active for the Rams in the team’s loss.
