ATHENS - How many times in the decade-long four-team playoff did UGA Football legitimately get snubbed from the College Football Playoff? Probably twice. 

2018 and 2023 are the two seasons where Kirby Smart and Georgia had a real case to be put in the playoff and were left out. Both instances were the immediate reaction to the Dawgs losing dramatic and competitive games to Alabama in the SEC Championship.
