ATHENS - If the job of the College Football Playoff Committee was to put the four best teams in the playoffs, the committee got it wrong. 

Well, they got part it of it right. Alabama deserved a playoff spot over Florida State, but we’ll talk about that in a second.

What’s clear is that Georgia is one of the four best teams in the country. So is Michigan, Alabama, and Texas.
