ATHENS - There were plenty of top UGA football commitments and targets in town this past weekend to watch the Bulldogs take down Missouri.
One of them was high four-star defensive back, Jaboree Antoine.
The 6-foot-1 170-pound cornerback from New Iberia, Louisiana is ranked as the No. 5 CB prospect and the No. 2 prospect in the state for the 2025 class.
While some sources believe Antoine is an LSU Tiger lean right now, the playmaking defensive back was in Athens this past weekend and broke down his visit with Dawg Post.

“My Georgia visit was exactly what I thought it was”, Antoine told Dawg Post. “The atmosphere and hospitality was great. We had a great time watching the game and seeing that defense fly around and make plays which is expected.”
“Talking to Coach Fran Brown and Head Coach Kirby Smart I felt like a priority on every aspect of the visit. We eat at the facility with the coaches and other recruits, then watched the LSU vs Bama game. After that, my family and I got a chance to tour the facility, after seeing everything, and just being there talking to the coaches I know I will get developed and have a head start on everybody in the future because I know it takes hard work and accountability to be a CHAMPION, and that’s exactly what GEORGIA gives. They are definitely one of those schools that’s high up in my recruiting for sure.”
As a prospect, Antoine is a quick-reacting cornerback with instincts and hands. He can make a play on the ball high in the air and closes well on opposing receivers in coverage. He has a lengthy frame and does a good job of separating the ball from the receiver. He shows good footwork and can change directions well in single coverage. He loves to compete and has shown to be a willing tackler in the run game as well.
His natural instincts, quick feet, and playmaking ability are why he’s one of the top DB prospects across the country in the 2025 class. He’s a major Bulldog target, and after this weekend’s visit, it’s clear Georgia made quite the impression on the out-of-state defender.
The Bulldogs currently have 8 commitments in the 2025 class with one of them being 4-star CB Tae Harris.
