BREAKING: UGA Football to Host Missouri Tigers on CBS

ATHENS - Kirby Smart and No. 1 UGA football will host No. 16 Missouri in Athens on CBS, the network announced on Monday.

CBS will feature a pair of top-20 ranked matchups that Satuday in an SEC doubleheader on the netowrk. No. 1 Georgia will host No. 16 Missouri in a pivotal East Division clash at 3:30 PM, ET. Immediately following in primetime, No. 15 LSU will head on the road to take on No. 9 Alabama in a matchup that likely will help determine the conference’s West Division champion.

UGA will travel to Jacksonville this Satuday for the 3:30 kickoff on CBS. It is the fourth time this season the Bulldogs will play on that network. The Missouri game will be the fifth. CBS could also select the Dawgs’ games aginst Ole Miss and Tennessee. The SEC Championship is on CBS as well. 

The Bulldogs have won all of their contests this season by ten points or more this season save the come-from-behind win at Auburn in late September.
 
Rich Waltz, Aaron Taylor and reporter Amanda Guerra will be on the call for Missouri-Georgia from Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga. Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson and reporter Jenny Dell will call LSU-Alabama from Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
 
The day’s action on the CBS Television Network and streaming on Paramount+ will kick off at 12:00 PM, ET, with the first game of the Network’s tripleheader, featuring No. 3 Ohio State on the road against Rutgers. Tom McCarthy, Ross Tucker and reporter Tiffany Blackmon will be on the call from SHI Stadium in Piscataway, N.J.
