The Bulldogs come into 2023 after winning back-to-back national titles. A slew of questions about off-field problems in the program, who the starting quarterback will be and if the Bulldogs can win it all again are certain to be lobbed at those traveling to the four-day event.
Media Days will be broadcast on the SEC Network. Georgia is scheduled for a Tuesday appearance in Nashville. A season ago Nick Saban’s Alabama Crimson Tide were picked by the media to win the SEC West and overall SEC title. Georgia went 15-0 - becoming only the third program in college football history to finish 15-0 in a season. Alabama has been picked by the media to win the SEC the last seven seasons.
Should the Bulldogs win another national title it would be the first in major modern college football to accomplish that feat. Kirby is coming off his seventh season at UGA. He has an 81-15 mark with five SEC East titles, two SEC titles and two national titles.
SEC commissioner Greg Sankey is scheduled to meet with the media to start the event Monday at 12:30 EST.
