Indianapolis, IN - Even a month and a half later, Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are still dealing with the tragic loss of offensive lineman Devin Willock.

With tough questions still surrounding the devastating incident, it’s safe to say this is still a very tough time for Bulldogs who played alongside Willock during his three-year career.

Former Bulldog defender Nolan Smith, who is in Indianapolis preparing for the NFL combine, was asked by reporters about Willock and the impact he made.

Smith, a leader who brings energy and emotional wherever he is, obviously got emotional talking about his former teammate.

“Man, that’s one person who never did anything wrong”, Smith said. “I get sensitive talking about it because I love him. He never did anything wrong in his three years. He was supposed to graduate. Most don’t know that his brother passed like that. I’m sorry to his mother. Nobody deserves to die like that. Three years in a row that man showed up and worked day in and day out. He’s a two-time national champ. It’s written in stone. Devin I love you, man. 77 will live forever. Do it for Dev. That’s what I tell those boys still at Georgia. You lost a brother. Do it for Dev.”
