ATHENSGeorgia Bulldogs and coach Kirby Smart are getting ready to take on Sonny Dykes and the TCU Horned Frogs in the 2023 College Football Playoff National Championship Game in Los Angeles. And according to TicketIQ prices for the game have fallen.

Currently, the average secondary market list price is $1,545 for the National Championship game, which is down 35% since the two semifinal games. The cheapest tickets for the game have dropped even more. Currently, the get-in price is $430, which is down 63% since the championship game.

There are currently just over 5,000 tickets available on the secondary market for the game.

This is the second time the National Championship game will be played in California. The last time was in 2019 when Clemson beat Alabama at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara. That game had an average price of $868, and a get-in price of just $202. Those prices are currently 50% and 69% less than this year's game.

Based on both the average secondary market list price and cheapest ticket, this year's National Championship 6th-lowest since we started tracking data in 2011. That said, it is currently 110% more expensive that last year's Georgia vs Alabama matchup. Georgia's 2018 appearance in the Championship game, also against Alabama in Atlanta, is the most expensive we've tracked.
