The Bulldogs are now 5-0 on the season and have won every game by at least 20 points. Kirby Smart has his team locked in. The No. 2 Bulldogs have played as well as any team in the country through the first five weeks of the season.
QB Gunner Stockton led the way over the weekend with his most complete game of the season against the Commodores.
Stockton executed at a high level, ending the day 25 for 32 for 295 yards and three touchdowns. The senior also had success on the ground, rushing for 22 yards. On the season, Stockton is 77 for 102 for 1,049 yards and 13 touchdowns. He’s also rushed for 122 yards, but has not found the end-zone yet.
The Bulldogs head to Tuscaloosa this weekend to take on the Alabama Crimson Tide who are ranked No. 6 and also have a 5-0 record. Alabama’s coming off an impressive 56-23 win on the road over Mississippi State.
Georgia’s big game against Alabama will kickoff at 7:30 on ABC this Saturday night.
