ATHENS - The No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs‘ 42-41 win over Ryan Day and the Ohio State Buckeyes in the 2022 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl was watched by more than 22 million viewers ESPN said Monday - making it the most-watched game of the season. 

22.1 million viewers tuned into watch the Bulldogs’ one-point win over Ohio State. The game one of the 20 most-watched telecasts in cable television history. Georgia will face the TSU Horned Frogs on Monday night at 7:30 PM EST on ESPN. The game is starting an hour earlier than in the past in hopes to grab a larger audience. 

Ohio State and Georgia are two of the three most-watched brands in college football over the last 11 seasons. Alabama, which is the other, faced the Bulldogs last year in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. That telecast was watched by 22.6 million. 

Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs have now played in four games with a TV audience of over 20 million viewers. In 2022 alone, the Bulldogs have now played in three of the six most-watched games this college football season.
