Ohio State Legend: "Georgia Will Get Rolled On" by Buckeyes

ATHENS - The College Football Playoffs are set, and that means it’s “talking season” for college football fans who will watch their team play in the Playoffs.
Of course, trash talk isn’t just for fans. The “hot takes” will come from everyone over the next few weeks, and we saw a VERY bold take come from an Ohio State Buckeye legend this week.
That would be former star running back, Maurice Clarett. He’s the one-year wonder who led Ohio State to the 2002 BCS Championship, Clarett hasn’t been relevant in the sport for about two decades now, but his love for the Buckeyes remains strong.
“Georgia gone get rolled on,” is what Clarett tweeted on Sunday.
Let me translate that for you.
Clarett thinks Ohio State is going to run away with this victory. That what that means, right? To get “rolled on”? Yeah, let’s go with that.
I’m not sure how much Georgia football the former running back has watched this year. My guess is not very much.
The Buckeyes won’t be doing ANY running or rolling on the Bulldogs in Atlanta. They might get rolled back to Columbus by Stetson Bennett and the Bulldog offense, but that’s about it.
“The young guys have something to prove”, Clarett added in the tweet. “Staff has something to prove.”
Clarett is right, there. The Buckeyes do have to prove something. They have to prove they aren’t the Charmin soft team a lot of people think they are. They have to prove that they can look the defending champions in the eye, in their state, and leave with a victory.
That’s a lot to prove.
These hot takes are great, though. Random stars from 20 years ago just sharing their thoughts out of left field. Supporting their team until the very end. It’s what makes college football great.
What we need now is a hot take from LaDainian Tomlinson or Andy Dalton.
“Get ready, Michigan! The Toads are coming for blood!”
Maybe we can get Clarett on a “Riding Home” episode with the Dawg Post crew for more hot takes on the Peach Bowl. I’ll work on that.
