ATHENS - To nobody’s surprise, the Georgia Bulldog rookies are turning heads left and right in the NFL.
Kirby Smart’s program produced an NFL-record 15 selections in April’s draft that included five defenders in the 1st-round.
As expected, the national champions are flashing consistently so far for their respected teams and making plenty of noise around the league.
One Twitter account labeled “NFL Rookie Watch”, run by “independent analyst”, Bradon Deacon, has made several tweets indicating that multiple Bulldog rookies are transitioning quite well in the NFL.

Georgia Bulldog legend Jordan Davis, a 1st-round pick to the Philadelphia Eagles, is always having some of his reps in practice go viral. He’s also been listed as a second string DT on the Eagles first unofficial depth chart. Davis won the 2021 Outland Trophy and the 2021 Chuck Bednarik Award last season as a senior, leading the Bulldogs to the 2021 national championship.
With Davis on board, the Philadelphia Eagles have +2500 odds to win the Super Bowl for the upcoming season according to FanDuel.

Former 5-star linebacker Quay Walker, a 1st-round pick to the Green Bay Packers, is already seeing some reps with the 1st-team unit in Green Bay. Walker made 67 total tackles last season with (tied 5.5 TFLs, 1.5 sacks and 25 QB pressures.
Another Green Bray 1st-round selection was Georgia Bulldog defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt, who is listed as a second team DE on the Packers first unofficial depth chart.
Then of course there’s George Pickens, a 1st-round talent who slipped to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2nd round. He’s made impressive catches throughout camp and has been the talk of the town in Pittsburgh.
No. 1 overall pick Travon Walker, another former 5-star, is living up to the hype in Jacksonville and had a strong performance last week in a pre-season game against the Raiders.
