ATHENS - It’s a day before the biggest recruiting weekend of the year, and it’s day two of Georgia’s mega camp where they work out and attempt to identify new prospects.

They had plenty of impressive young prospects in town to camp on Wednesday, and there’s even more talent in the Classic City on Thursday.

Here are some confirmed visitors/campers at Georgia on Thursday...

2024 WR/DB KJ Bolden - Buford

Dawg Post’s No. 2 prospect in Georgia for the 2024 class, Bolden is one of the top two-way prospects in the country for his class. The 6-foot-2 180-pounder is an elite playmaker with 5-star potential, and he showed it last year as a sophomore for the state-champion Buford Wolves. The track-star has plenty of speed and explosiveness to his game and he can create separation on his own. Defensively, he closes well when the ball is in the air and does a great job of breaking passes up. He plays at a different level, and it’s led to offers from just about every major program in the country. It’s early, but the Bulldogs appear to sit in a great spot in his recruitment.

2023 OL Connor Lew - Kennesaw Mountain

One of the top OL prospects in Georgia for the 2023 class, the impressive interior lineman is strong, physical, and plays with a strong, balanced base. He had a big spring on the recruiting trail, earned an offer from the Bulldogs on February 23rd, and plans to take his official visit to Georgia the weekend of June 17th. With a big camp performance today, Lew could climb higher and higher on Georgia’s OL board.

2024 TE/DE Kylan Fox - Grayson

A big-bodied TE/DE prospect, Fox is a true playmaker at 6-foot-5 205-pounds who will take on a leadership role next fall as a junior for the mighty Grayson Rams. He’s one of the top two-way players in the area and he’s looking to add an offer from the Bulldogs after a strong camp performance.

2024 QB Jakhari Williams – First Presbyterian Day

Arguably the top young QB in Middle Georgia, the Macon native is one of the most physically gifted passers in the area at 6-foot-3 190-pounds who is full of potential. Ranked as the No. 2 QB and the No. 25 overall prospect in Georgia Williams shows good footwork for his age, impressive arm strength, and chucks the ball deep down the field as well as anyone in the area. His ability to throw accurately on the run is something you don’t see often from young sophomore quarterbacks. He’s mobile, feels the pockets, and can hurt defenses when he takes off. We’ll see if he leaves Athens with an offer.

2024 EDGE/TE Eddrick Houston – Buford

A dynamic jumbo-athlete at 6-foot-3 220-pounds who can play on the edge and catch passes as a tight end, Houston stands out physically and has shown to be a natural edge defender who can stuff the run and get after the quarterback. He has elite quickness off the ball and can disrupt a play in the backfield at any point off the edge.  There’s a lot to like about his game, and if you watch his film from last year, it’s hard to image he did all that damage as just a sophomore. He has 5-star potential, and Dawg Post has him ranked as the No. 7 prospect in Georgia for the 2024 class.

2024 EDGE KingJoseph Edwards – Buford

One of the top 2024 pass rushers in Georgia, Edwards earned a Georgia offer after dominating the Atlanta Under Armour Camp in February, and he’s been a priority target for assistant Chidera Uzo-Diribe ever since. He shows quick hands, can bend below opposing linemen, and has a knack for getting past his opponent. The 6-foot-4 240-pounder has a solid frame for someone his age and he’ll only get bigger and add more muscle over the next few years. He’s been one of the fastest-rising prospects in Georgia so far this year, and his stock is at an all-time high heading into the summer.

2025 DL Elijah Griffin  – Savannah Christian

One of the top overall defenders in South Georgia, the Savannah native had an outstanding freshman season last fall and already owns major D1 offers. He has great size and an excellent frame at 6-foot-5 270-pounds and can overpower older offensive linemen on a consistent basis. He totaled over 69 tackles and made 8 TFLs to go along with 3.5 sacks as a freshman last year. Dawg Post has him ranked as the No. 4 prospect in Georgia for the 2025 class.

2024 EDGE Kamarion Franklin

A versatile defensive lineman and one of the top overall prospects in Mississippi, the Lake Cormorant standout stands at 6-foot-5 260-pounds and holds offers from Alabama, Arkansas, FSU, among others. He’s a star on the basketball court as well, and he’ll be a defeeensive lineman to keep an eye on in the 2024 class.

2024 QB Jaylen Bradford - IMG Academy (FL)

One of the top QBs across the South in the 2024 class, the South Carolina native now plays at IMG Academy (FL), and his recruitment could really take off soon. The6-foot-0 185-pounder has a live arm and rushed for almost 400 yards on the ground last season as a sophomore.

2024 DB Jaylen Heyward - Rockledge (FL)

One of the top 2024 safety prospects in Florida, Heyward is someone sources say assistant Will Muschamp really likes. He has decent size at 6-foot-0 180-pounds and one Georgia fans should keep a close eye on over the next few seasons.
