Georgia Bulldogs DL Warren Brinson Arrested on Misdemeanor Simple Battery Charges
ATHENS - Georgia Bulldogs defensive lineman Warren Brinson was arrested Thursday night by the Clarke County Sheriff’s Department on misdemeanor simple battery charges.
Brinson was released on two $1,500 bonds just after midnight Friday morning. UGA has not released a statement regarding the matter. UGA Sports reported Friday morning that Brinson “was allegedly taking part in what’s known as the “Orbeez Challenge" on TikTok, where participants are encouraged to use the toys to shoot water gel beads at strangers while recording” citing a source.
Brinson’s arrest comes with only four practices left in the Bulldogs’ spring football schedule. The Savannah native played in 12 of the Dawgs’ 15 games in 2021. He had nine tackles, of which one was a sack. He added eight quarterback pressures, including two against Michigan in the College Football Playoff National Semifinal at the Orange Bowl.
